NET Academies Trust – Admissions

Mid-Year Admissions

A parent can apply for a place for their child at any school, at any time. If this is not during the normal admissions round, this is called a mid-year admission.

Jerounds Primary Academy currently has places available, however places are limited for certain year groups. Places are also available across all year groups within other schools in NET Academies Trust, which are:

Your child is not guaranteed a place at your preferred school. You should not remove your child from their existing school before you have received another offer.

NET Academies Trust manages mid-year admissions to the Academy and we recommend that you contact the schools you are interested in before making a decision to move house or submit an application.

and send to the school: office@jerounds.netacademies.net Guidance notes are included with the form or please contact the school office should you require assistance.

Please note that, should you apply during a school holiday period, your application will be considered as received on the first school day following the holiday.

Applying from overseas – for non-UK citizens, the child must be in the UK before the application can be processed and proof of residency such as an endorsed (stamped) passport or entry visa will be required with the application.

Reception Admissions for September

You can apply for a Reception school place for September through Essex County Council from November to January. Please apply on their website hereOnly applications made through the Council will be accepted for Reception places.

Unfortunately, it is possible that your child may not receive a place due to oversubscription. If you wish to appeal this decision, please follow this link
